Why Østerbro landlords inspect thoroughly

The neighbourhood has many classic 1900s apartment buildings with co-op associations and private landlords who've run the same building for decades. Both have the experience to know exactly how an apartment should look — and the time to check. The standard reports they return don't leave much open.

  • Original parquet — scratches, stains, missing polish
  • Behind radiators — dust and old candle marks
  • Window sills — paint, limescale, tile slip

Timing: when to book?

On Østerbro many move-outs land the same day (1st of the month) because it's primarily rental. Peak months: May, July, August, October. Book 2-3 weeks ahead if you're moving in one of them — urgent bookings are possible, but a surcharge may apply.

Frequently asked questions

Do you come regularly on Østerbro?
Yes. We have several fixed clients in the area and know the typical building types. Waitlist is usually 1-2 weeks.
What if the landlord requires cleaned windows?
We wipe frames and sills, but don't clean the glass itself. If the landlord specifically requires it, we can coordinate a certified window cleaner for the same day.
Can you come on the 1st of the month when everyone moves?
Yes, but often sold out. Book 3 weeks ahead if the date is fixed. We also work the day before handover if that works better.
What if I'm not satisfied?
Same rule everywhere: we come back within 48 hours and fix it. It rarely happens, but the guarantee is real — not marketing.
