Cleaning on Frederiksberg: Why a fixed team matters more than a fixed price

Large apartments with high ceilings. Old parquet floors that don't tolerate anything. Owned apartments and housing co-ops where quality matters more than price. Families with children, where time is the real resource. And a proper relationship with the neighbourhood — always.

Old parquet: a discipline of its own

Many Frederiksberg apartments have original oak or beech parquet from 1900-1930. They're beautiful, they're tough, but they can't take the same cloth as new laminate. Too much water, wrong cleaner, aggressive scrubbing — and they scratch or develop matte spots that are expensive to sand away.

We use microfibre and mild soap on old parquet. Never acidic cleaners, never large volumes of hot water. The first visit we walk through the floors and adjust technique — English oak reacts differently to newer beech.

479 DKK/hour incl. VAT — the same for all customers in Copenhagen and surrounding areas. After the service deduction it typically lands at ~354 DKK/hour. A couple can together receive up to 9,516 DKK back per year — which covers more than half of a weekly cleaning agreement.
